Posted Oct. 28, 2009 Comforting Blankets is currently working on their very first cook book, you can help...if you know any great recipes you are willing to let us publish, please email the recipe to bdumond@comfortingblankets.org In the cook book, each recipe will say who it came from, so make sure you leave your name or if you want it to say “that is your mom’s recipe” Just let me know.

posted Sept. 23, 2009 Update on blankets given out, since March of 2007...drumroll please...we have given out 605 blankets to local cancer patients (a few out of state). With help from people who have donated time to making blankets and also helped with fundraisers and donations, thank you to everyone. It all adds up!!

Community Day at the Bangor Mall, Oct. 18, 2008...lots of people stopped by, thank you for all your sapport.
Thankyou to everyone that came to Riverfest, the bake sale was a big success.

posted June 9, 2008- There will be a bake sale during the Old Town canoe days, in Old Town, Maine. On June 21 from 10:00 until 4:00, hope you are able to come. If you are unable to come but would still like to help out, please send your donation to P.O. Box 566 Milford, Me 04461. If you are mailing a blanket, please call 433-0896 for the street address. We will also be excepting blankets at the bake sale if anyone would like to bring one.
